I smell {free} CHICKEN!

Y’all know me… if it’s free, I’m in! Well this morning when I woke to a nightmare at 5:19 am and made my way to the kitchen shortly thereafter, I realized I inadvertently purchased Dunkin’ Decaf coffee rather than REGULAR! Oh the travesty! So, I decided I’d go to McD’s for some of their premium coffee. I had a pep talk w/myself on the way there that I was just going to buy coffee… which is hard to do when you see their menu and your about to pop open with a child in your womb. But then what to my wondering eyes did appear? But a sign that said “FREE” Chicken Biscuit! Ahhh haaa! I remembered that my friend Chris had posted about this special offer a couple weeks ago on his blog… but the date was in one ear eye and out the other.

So I just finished scarfing it down (of course I brought the hubby one too) and it was worth the coffee to get the biscuit (all white meat breast– I must add)! The offer is good from 7 am to 7pm with the purchase of a medium or large drink. If you can’t get there for breakfast you can get a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich for lunch or dinner! It comes with pickles & butter and tastes somewhat similar to Chik-fil-A! When Cousin was in town a few weeks ago I treated her to lunch at McDonald’s {I’m still laughing about it– we even “dined in”& had shared dessert} and she had the Southern Style Chicken and it was pretty tasty…. and things are even better when they’re free! So run to McDonald’s and enjoy lunch on me! 🙂
