Home Again

We had an absolutely delightful time in Cashiers {rhymes with “mashers”}, NC. Justin’s parents have a beautiful home and we loved our relaxing little getaway. The children were, thankfully, well-behaved on the 8 hour drive. I put all the pictures together and you can click on the picture below to link to the album/slideshow. We stopped by Jaemor Farms {anyone ever been?} on our way home and I scored a 1/2 a bushel of apples! I’ve been up to my eyeballs in Apple Butter today! It deserves a post all of it’s own. Until then, these ought to hold you over…

    We live about 20 mins from Jaemor Farms. Isn’t it great? We went there for the first time in July (http://jacobjameswright.blogspot.com/2008/07/on-monday-jacob-and-i-went-to-his.html). You probably had more fun this week since it is good weather here. Glad you had a nice trip!

    Where is their home in Cashiers? My cousin & aunt both own homes there and we LOVE going to visit! beautiful!

    What a great trip!! Looks so great. I’ll live through your pictures this year with the beautiful trees! You just don’t get that in PCB, and I don’t think we’re going to make it to Hartselle this fall… Looks Wonderful!!

    Looks like ya’ll had so much fun! I love Cashiers…I grew up 45 min. from there and I miss it so bad! It is a good 5 hours from Charleston….Your kids are precious…I am jealous of the fall vacation…Mandy

    I want to go there NOW!!! So beautiful! Great pictures! Loved the house – it didn’t need any extra “Fall” decorations, the natural ones were enough!

    Looks like you guys had a great time. The colors of the leaves and all of the fall decor really got me in the mood for a bonfire and cookout!
