So, as much as I’d like to haul the stuff to UPS and ship it to you… or sell it to you and wait for you to come get it… I just don’t know if I have it in me to arrange for such arrangements {for lack of a better word}. For now I will attempt to get out there and organize it and you will be hearing more about my progress… and I’ll be sure to give you a date as to when the sale will be taking place so you can arrange for your husbands to keep your children so you can drive to Alabama to buy stuff at my garage sale that I found in the trash! I promise I won’t tell your husbands.
But to answer some of your questions {those of you who are really really interested}:
– the headboard is a King
– the lamps are wooden & I haven’t decided if I want to sell them… but I’m sure my husband will make me… if I do, they will be “made over”
– the picnic table… there are actually 2 of them and they too are being made over
– the wicker chairs… I’m just not sure what to do about them. They are real wicker, with some signs of wear, some dirt, but overall: FAIR condition
– the brown slip covered chair behind the wicker chairs will also be for sale
I’m thinking I can pull this sale off sometime in February… I’ll keep you posted.
I also want to let you in on a little secret…
I bought 4 more ENORMOUS {about 12′ x 4′} bulletin boards this morning to makeover and sell…. homeschoolers and those with playrooms… get excited! We have 2 that I covered with fabric and I absolutely LOVE them! If I can collaborate with Erika we might be able to use some fanstastic designer fabric! I’ll let you know how I decide to go about the selling of these… they will not be sold in the garage sale.
1 can of refrigerated “crescent” rolls.

January 29, 2009 at 3:20 pmAs my computer is down at home and I can’t view the video at work, I’m just going to take the word of the 1317 other people who viewed the garage sale items and know that I am missing out – though my husband would KILL me if I mentioned buying anything – we need a sale of our own! Anyhow, thanks for sharing that cinnimini recipe – Emma Claire and I both have a weakness for cinnamon rolls! Yum Yum!!!!

January 29, 2009 at 3:41 pmI think the cinminis have been added to my weekend to do list! Those look great!
And that’s hilarious about the garage sale video! Too funny that people want all your stuff- not that they shouldn’t want it- but it’s in the garage for a reason, right? I love garage sales though because you never know what you’ll find!
And isn’t the list of babies in need of prayer that have been going around the blogosphere almost overwhelming? I was in tears (before a conference call that I was leading!) today about the little girl named Tuesday and right after that I got another e-mail about a local girl who died in a car wreck. Sometimes it’s just too much, but it will definitley make you fall to your knees.
And this is the point where I quit rambling in your comments section. 🙂

January 29, 2009 at 5:50 pmWould love to visit the garage sale…in need of some items. Need might be too strong a word. So, anyway…I don’t watch Utube often, so when will it be held? You can email me.

January 29, 2009 at 5:57 pmOh wow! I did go back and watch it as my curiosity got the best of me…my garage is in major need of a clean out too. Good for you!
Can’t wait to try the ciniminis. Try having the girls hide a marshmallow in the middle of the crescent rolls at Easter and it disappears when you bake it…like Jesus in the tomb. 🙂

I find that I am searching for a tissue… what a powerful combination: music AND subject matter. The one of you the two of you kissing one another made me have a catch in my throat. Misty eyed moment.
She is a brilliant photographer. And the baby is simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing those.
