From Grey to Blue

The rain lifted and we had GLORIOUS weather today.
Blue skies and mid 70’s.
Thank you, Lord.
We also had 2 Valentine’s parties.
I was up late with the birds {to attach to the mice}.

Then I was up early with the sun, birds and John Martin.

Then it was time to go.
I attempted to capture a few pictures of the girls in their new Walmart dresses.
Couldn’t get ’em to look at me… oh well!

Raiger and I both wore our red shoes… I managed to capture that!

And there’s one more thing I captured today…

saucywenches

“Saucy Wenches”… I was in line at Taco Bell casually browsing through my pictures from the girls parties and noticed the car in front of me had an “I break for Saucy Wenches” bumper sticker. I thought, “What the heck are Saucy Wenches?” So, I snapped a pic and prayed the driver didn’t see me photographing her. Well, now I’m home and I’ve googled and “wiki-ed” Saucy Wenches and all I can come up with is that durn bumper sticker. I hope it’s nothing obscene… but do any of you know what “Saucy Wenches” are? Apparently they’re brake worthy.

Before I leave there’s one more thing that happened at Taco Bell…
They forgot to give me 1/2 my order. Those of you who don’t like Taco Bell are saing “surprise, surprise” and those of you who like it are feeling sorry for me. The drive-thru line was SO long and for whatever reason my order took forever. When I got my bag I was quick to pull forward… only to then glance in the bag and notice the girl’s tacos weren’t in there. Guess what I did? If you’re a mother of young children {who are all strapped in their seats} you’ll understand. I rolled down my window and stuck my head out and yelled {at the top of my lungs} to the car behind me… “Ma’m, do you mind telling her that I’m missing 2 soft tacos?” I was so thankful that my kids aren’t old enough to be embarassed of me yet. I could hear the lady behind me tell the window worker that I didn’t get all my order and that I need 2 more soft tacos, then she tells me “I told them!”
“Thanks!” I say and pull forward.
Well, I sit in front of Taco Bell for about 5 minutes hoping and praying they’re going to bring me my tacos. Next thing I know this cute lady in a pink little sweater comes walking out to my car and hands me not only my 2 soft tacos but also 2 orders of cinnamon twists. She was way too nice and dressed too cute to even be the manager. I said, “Oh, how did you get this?” She explained she heard me yell that they didn’t get my order so she went in and waited for them to hand it to her so she could bring it to me… will you please be my Valentine?

Think the lady friend of a pirate. Their attitudes can be very…saucy.

Tha sticker gave me a good laugh, though. Because I know several people who would love it!

Only in the south would that EVER happen!!
I love the girl’s dresses….Walmart? No way. Adorable red shoes too. And, John Martin looks JUST like Justin. Can we get a little baby picture comparison of the baby and Justin? I swear they seem like twins.
Thanks for coming to my defense with the blogging issues.

SISTER! Guess what!? I ate at Taco Bell today too! Nachos Bell Grande no meat. YUMOLA. I told Marla how Taco Bell always reminds me of shopping in highschool with you and mom and scarfing down some tacos afterwards. I love you! Kisses to my little Valentines!

The drive thru thing, totally hilarious! I don't think I would have ever thought to do that! I will now. I hate when my order gets messed up, especially when you have the munchkins in the car! Glad you got your tacos & the free cinnamon twist, YUM!

I laughed out loud at the Taco Bell scene – I pulled a similar move not long ago at Chickfila except they only forgot my straw. I’m sorry but the sweet tea just doesn’t go down the same way without a straw! HA!

What are saucy wenches?! People sometimes have the strangest stickers???

I have to ask…..where did you get the owl stamp? I'm addicted to all things owl! I made Valentine's cards in photoshop that had a little owl & said "owl be your valentine". Dorky, but cute.

And the girls are so dang cute. They will thank you for these pictures some day!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I am going to put this out there. You might not have known this but Justin does. My parents own the Taco Bells & KFCs in the area. I am SO sorry they forgot part of your order. I am very happy that they gave you what you were missing and also added some cinnamon twists. I almost thought the woman bringing you the rest of your order was my mom (you can pretty much catch her at any store at any time) but she's out of town. Please let me know if there is ever a problem again! Thanks!

Love the cute dresses with the white sweaters.
I think it’s hilarious that you took a picture of that car. But I can’t help you out a/b the saucy wench thing.
I also think it’s hilarious that you yelled to the lady behind you a/b the tacos. And I love random nice people!

ONLY in the South would a mom (she had to be one) help out another mom like that! (I typed this before I read all the other comments) I love it! CUTE dresses and I am headed to Wal-mart at lunch. No guilt clothes! (no guilt of spending the money, no guilt if and when they get ruined!)

that taco bell story made me laugh — it is funny the things you aren’t afraid to do if it means you won’t have to unbuckle your kids. i think there should be a special drive-thru for people who have kids in carseats!
