It’s been a grey & rainy one folks.
But that’s ok because we have:
PLAYDOH
BEADS
COOKIES IN OUR COOKIE JAR
BOOKS
A FUN “HAND-ME-DOWN SHIRT” FROM MOMMA SIS

and mommy snuck away to the antique mall & found an old $15 QUILT
{cotton, queen, & doesn’t smell.. and I’ve been watching it for months… finally broke down. Happy Valentine’s Day to me!}

playdoh

girlsbeads

cookies

kidsbooks

shirtfromE

quilt

And to top it all off… I’ve spent the last few days daydreaming about something like this and I just ordered this today too. More on my dreams later…

And more to come on the garage sale too! Erika and Marla will be here for it {with their loot to sell} and any of you who want to come shop are cordially invited.

The book you ordered looks good, please fill us in when you’re done. Have you ever read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle? It’s written by Barbara Kingsover (she wrote The Poisonwood Bible), it’s a memoir of her family eating only food that they grew or that grew locally for a year. It’s a bit preachy at first but it’s really good.

man…i need to be your neighbor. i would have seriously traded you 2 little boys for those 2 little girls. and we must shop at the same place for baby toys. i’m pretty certain my chubba dub plays with the same one.

Not to offend…but I was not ready to see store bought cookies in the cookie jar. I was picturing little hands with flour on them :)

Okay, IF by chance you live in Birmingham (I think you may?), then I would LOVE to come to the Garage Sale. Will you post when and where’s? Wow, so excited. I might be nervous to come see all you famous gals with your loot in one place!

Looks like a lovely day to me…not a gray one!

YES on the farm. That contrasting turquoise and white was gorgeous. We are having the same discussion over here. Yearning to toss the house (aka money pit) and head out for a much simpler life in the country. It won’t happen on our end but I so get it.

Love the picture of the 3 little angels from above. That is precious. And glad you made the best of a yucky day!
I still can’t get real (vs. phone) e-mail, but I will continue our convo as soon as I can. :)

Look forward to hearing more about the book and you probably would enjoy Barbara Kingsover’s book – for at least a week after reading it I was bound and determined to plant a farm in our backyard – quickly came to my senses and realized I had enough on my plate at this stage of life!
