This is what summer is all about…

sprinklerstreaker

And this…

cornshuckers2

corn

paigecandles

We also recently had a fast and furious visit from these two {+ Chance} which is always so good but never long enough!

And because I feel laughter is so good for a soul…ย  I will leave you with this…

JMready

Which is what I saw Sunday morning before church. Justin knows I find his basketball shoes quite atrocious so they really sealed the deal and made me chuckle!!

Hope you all are doing well! We are thoroughly enjoying our summer and looking forward to heading north before school is back in session. For now we are savoring our lazy {which are really anything but lazy} days at home!

Also, I’m putting together the email for August sponsors, if you’ve emailed me I hope to be getting back to you soon! If you are interested in advertising on the sidebar you can email me at ads@flythroughourwindow.com for details!

I’ve never commented before but I just had to when I saw the basketball shoes. My husband has some equally–no, more–atrocious baseball shoes. His are ALL! black patent leather. And they stink. So bad. I keep telling him all he needs are some of those stretchy shorts with the wide waistband and the two snaps that all high school coaches wore when we were growing up. My hatred for them is only outdone by his love and loyalty for them.

What a gorgeous pic of Erika and Sloane! Rover makes me laugh, always reminds me of my little Charlie. We started our morning with a walk around the neighborhood in his wagon trailing the garbage trucks. Trucks of any variety are a big draw these days, along with leaf blowers, lawn mowers, and any other machine that makes noise or has buttons. Sound familiar?! ๐Ÿ™‚

I will give you a little tip about the corn. If you leave it in the shuck, cover it in a wet paper towel, and microwave it for 5 mins. the shuck & silk come right off. It is ready to eat. So easy and delish!
