Anyway, here are some pictures from day 2 at the hospital. The girls are thrilled with baby brother and Paige has finally warmed up to him. Now we’re trying to get her to warm up to DaddyBoy {who arrived this afternoon}.
I also think he greatly resembles Paiger {who is pictured above with the “Paige” blanket}. She had a head full of dark hair just like he does.
Now… for his name! Who knew naming a baby was such a challenge? So, Justin has been set on John since day 1. I’ve been warming up to it since day 1. I’ve always been a fan of a name with a little “originality” {nothing totally off the wall but nothing too ordinary}… and thankfully John isn’t too popular these days. Well, perhaps that’s why I can’t call him John… I can’t help but think of a grown man when I think of John. I don’t really know a “John” under the age of 30 and even adding Baby John to the front seemed “forced”… so, after calling the “records” girl back to the hospital room on numerous occasions… we have named him
John Martin McPherson Stickler
any man of great importance has at least 4 names, right? Justin has agreed to call him John Martin (sometimes) and when he’s “old enough” he can drop the Martin if he so desires. We made it easy for him to do so if he chooses… by making his first name John and his middle names Martin McPherson.
Ok, I’m off to take a shower!
By the way… he may look like Paige, but he sleeps like Morgan… woke up 1x last night!!! We put him down around 11… I fed him at 2:45 and he was up around 7:45!! Thank you, Lord!!

My husband wanted to name him Roy! No little baby should be called Roy… older man, sure but NOT a baby! I am glad things are going well for your family!
