Socks..

I put the socks on the girls this morning and they were a little tight… so when you sew the trim on stretch the sock out just a tad to allow enough “give” to get them on comfortably! I’ll edit the post below! I would hate for someone to make them and then not be able to get them on! 🙂

I have a sewing machine that has not been out of the box in years. I hope when we move (hopefully soon) I can have a place for my sewing machine and I plan on making these socks. I don’t know what it is but I cannot find cute dress socks anywhere in California! Little girls just don’t dress up as much here… my Karoline is the only one who wears smocked dresses… in fact, most people had no clue what a smocked dress was until we moved here.
    Thanks for the insperation…

I just found you from my friend Dena at Growing Up Girlie! She insisted that I look at the peep wreath, so I could make one for her! I am the crafty one. It is so fun that you are crafty and sew AND have two girls…so do I. I will have to visit more often.

Why have I not been reading you? I am a good friend of Dena’s and she also told me about the peep wreath. Precious!!! I started reading your blog and couldn’t stop. We just moved into a new home, so all your renovation ideas were just food for my brain. Come check me out, and I’ll start reading yours. I’m always happy to have a new bloggie friend:)
