This one’s for the kids…

Since your chances were rather slim a few days ago I thought I’d do another quick Christmas giveaway. This one is for the kids.

Speaking of kids. My kids donned bathing suits and sunscreen yesterday… and played in water outside. And I thought November was shockingly mild. It’s December, folks….

In the sweatshop this weekend I finished up a few more Christmas presents for the children…

And I thought y’all might like one… since I have 1 apron left over! So, up for grabs:: one child size apron with the applique of your choice {dino or owl} and a name! Comment to win and I will draw a name Friday {tomorrow} at 3 pm CST! Even if you don’t have kids you can comment… I bet any niece, nephew or grandchild would be appreciative!

Oh… there’s one stipulation with this drawing. Since this one’s for the kids I want to encourage you with the words of a thirteen-year old boy named Logan {who lives on a working ranch and places a call to the radio station}. He’s wise beyond his years… you’ll see. As we go about the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season… remember this child was sent for a purpose:: our redemption & salvation. If you have any questions… email me there’s nothing I’d rather do than tell you more!

Merry! Merry!

Now about those aprons- they’ve got to be one of the cutest things I’ve seen. If I win, could I commission you to make more? (I have 3 kids too, 2 girls and a boy, just like you)

Oh, I cried. I’ll admit it. That phone call between Logan and the radio station just touched me, so deeply. It just amazes me how children can grow and be so aware of God’s presence. That they can hear him. Thanks for sharing this, Darby.

    And speaking of sharing…

Thanks for sharing your talents with us time and time again. My daughter would love a wee apron (she’s choose the dinosaur, of course) so maybe I’ll be lucky.

Thanks again. I’m going to share Logan’s story with my family later this evening. I know they’ll appreciate it as much as I did.

I’ve been following your blog for some time now….so now’s a good a time as any to leave a comment! 🙂 You are just too talented! I love your crafty ideas! I taught preschool before I had our first baby in September and I’m a big fan of arts and crafts. This apron would be perfect for my son to wear when I break out the finger paints!! Thanks for offering this giveaway…how fun!

Love the apron Darby! This Chi O would love to have one for her little Hoot. Do I get sympathy points by telling you that I am 37 weeks pregnant and had to go the hospital last night to get an IV because I had a horrendous stomach bug!?!

Hope y’all are having a great week!

I am a friend of Ashley(Turnbull) and Tegan(Corrie)and I have been blogstalking for a while now, but have never commented. First, that youtube video brought this pregnant girl(with twins) to lots of hormonal tears! It’s amazing and so perfectly timed. Logan’s words are so comforting and I am so thankful that you have shared!I am continually amazed at how many peoples’ lives your blog touches and how talented you are- all while being a wife and mother of 3! The apron is too cute and these drawings are such a fun way to get to know your readers!!

    Merry Christmas!
