Giving Thanks…

I am thankful…

It is not good for man to be alone. Genesis 2:18

Apart from the Lord, I have no good thing. Psalm 16:2

Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred. A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, a good news gives health to the bones.ย  He who listens to life-giving rebuke will be at home among the wise.ย  Proverbs 15:17 & 30-31

The Lamb of God takes away the sin of the world. John 1:29

I sing for joy at the works of your hands. Psalm 92:4

Jesus said, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruitโ€”fruit that will last.” John 15:16

…in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. Ephesians 3:12

He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Job 8:21

… children are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3

The earth is the Lord’s and all it contains. Psalm 24:1

All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful… Psalm 25:10

Happy Thanksgiving to each of you!! Thank you for always encouraging me and for all your kind comments! Whether you find yourself in joy or sorrow, I pray that each of you will find time today to reflect on the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord!

Of all the thanksgiving wishes I’ve seen and read today, this truly is the most special – scripture and photos! What a way of counting your blessings.

I was thinking about you earlier tonight as I was sewing and wondered if you would post a thanksgiving note. And now this. I just love this post. Thank you for sharing, on this day and everyday.

That was beautiful Darcy! Love all those scriptures and your pics to go along with them. I really wish that I wasn’t about to ask you this question…and I’m wrestling with what kind of person it makes me that I even want to ask you such a shallow question on a post with such depth…but by golly, you have the cutest things and I simply must know!!! What is the blue-ish/green paint color on the walls in the pic with your 3 children? Do you happen to know the color? I have been wanting a color like this but went a bit too dark when I tried. Ok, I must go hide in shame now…or find some sort of support group to attend maybe? ๐Ÿ™‚
