32 In Life/ tshirts

Good Saturday Afternoon!

Raiger_Indian

Hello Rovers! I think this Saturday afternoon post calls for some bullets. The three topics below: Thanksgiving feast, t-shirts, & attire seen at the Auburn game tailgate.

I was on a roll with my blog posts and then life happened this week and well, I fell off my blogging horse. Other fun things have taken place though…

  • The Raiger had her Thanksgiving party. She was the sweetest little Indian Princess I’ve ever seen. She stayed on stage, didn’t cry and actually sang along with her classmates! Way to go my BIG, BRAVE girl!!
  • Rover is doing a little better about wearing clothes. He still protests but doesn’t rip them off, praise the Lord! Now he needs a hair cut and we’ll see how well that goes over this week.
  • I’ve been busy revamping & restocking Honey Bee Tees and doing more math than I care to do for a while.

ChristmasrideWRAPPED

all3

  • Almost all of the new designs are in for the Christmas season, some will slowly trickle in over the next week. Please keep checking back!
  • I had to change up the shipping just a bit. The new styles are mostly all long sleeved {both for adults & kids} and I can only fit one {two toddler tees at most} in those TINY small flat rate boxes. If you’ve ordered, you know what I’m talking about. So, now I’m using my own shipping bags and will be shipping all tees USPS first class {2-5 day delivery} but a Priority Mail {2-3 day} UPGRADE is available in the shop if you need it QUICK.
  • We are leaving Monday for the Thanksgiving holiday, I was going to be totally insane and bring the tees with me to ship out while I was there, then I realized 1) how insane that idea was considering I only get to go see my family 2x a year and 2) that they wouldn’t fit in our car… so if you order this weekend I will ship it out Monday. If you order late Sunday afternoon or during the week next week it will not ship until Monday {29th} or Tuesday {30th} of the next week. Thanks for your patience.

Christmas Wrap1

  • I also have a Christmas Wrapping option available. Pam at pixelimpress {a very longtime loyal sponsor} was my go-to for the super cute tags that I’d be glad to jot a note on for the little rovers on your Christmas list!

James&Morgan_laughing

  • More styles will be trickling in this week… long sleeved chocolate brown tees with the bird dog screened in white, short sleeved olive tees with the “O Christmas Tree” design {which would be cute over a long sleeved white tee} and women’s long sleeved tees in red with “O Christmas Tree” design screened on the front.
  • Please keep in mind theΒ  long sleeve tees run a little small and are made to fit closer to the body. I would order a size up from what you would usually order. Rover wears a 4 in the long sleeved tees, Paige a 6, and Morgan an 8 {partly because I wash & dry everything}.

ReadingRabbit3

  • I also have a new tote, Sister designed this one for me… The Reading Rabbit library tote! I just love that little laid-back rabbit with his stack of books!

reunion_everyone

Last, I will respond, which usually I’m not good about doing because I feel a little silly answering questions about fashion, etc. But ummm, y’all had a lot of questions regarding what was worn at the Auburn tailgate reunion. Which is kind of laughable to me because I don’t find myself too fashionable, but y’all were really sweet. There was no “dress code” for brown boots but when your team is orange and blue, tall brown boots were apparently a MUST! Ok, so let me see if I can help a sister out… and I’ll share what I know!

  • My shirt was from the summer clearance rack at Kohl’s {$7} and the tag says Apartment 9.
  • My jegs were also from Kohl’s they’re by ELLE and I love them because they’re inexpensive and because they fit good and they’re comfy. Now, I am not so much a fan of the jegs that are mostly leggings, these are about 70% jean and 30% legging. They have a zipper fly and button like regular jeans {but the front pockets are sewn shut}. And they’re great with boots and they are perfect lengthwise for my 5’4″ legs so I can wear them with flats. And they’re completely free of bling {I don’t do studded or sparkle threaded jeans}.
  • My boots were a gift from Justin last year. They’re Luchesse {1883’s in Mad Dog Tan} and I wore them everyday last winter and I’ll probably wear them again everyday this winter.Β  I’m not seeing them on their website but maybe you could sniff them out online elsewhere!?
  • Erika’s orange shirt was from J.Crew and I borrowed her brown sweater from Saks 5th Ave. {Can you tell we shop different places?} I also carried her cute tobacco colored leather purse by Lucky Brand and maybe if I tell her how much I loved it she’ll give it to me for Christmas, she’s nice like that! πŸ™‚
  • My lip color was found in Erika’s purse: Covergirl OutlastΒ 626
  • My friend Anna Kate was wearing an orange scarf that was made in China. {This is unfortunately only funny if you were there.}

I must go… my house needs me… desperately!!!!!!

Happy Weekend to you all!

I think I am gonna have to break down and buy one of those T’s…especially since the newest addition to our family is going by the name “Camper”. Poor child, she is destined to be everybody’s “Happy Camper.” Let’s hope she develops a sunny disposition to go along with her name…

Just so ya know, I grew up on a farm…Daddy still lives there and just won World Grand Champion with one of his Tenn.Walkers, but the point is, my first pair of Luchesses, I wore for 26 years. I forgot how many soles, but they rock! I’m 50 yrs old and on my second pair with it’s 3rd sole. Resole them before you wear a hole and you’ll have ’em for freakin’ ever!!! They are like socks at my house! I bought my daughter her 1st pair in middle school and she’s a senior in college and on her 3nd sole…even after fraternity row…Luchesse, will you marry me? (psst…still LOVE watching your precious family grow up…my daughter and I email each other about your posts… is that sad? maybe, but we love y’all!!! (she’s now a senior in college with her “rover” little brother at the same school as a freshman…a priceless year so far…somebody call master card!)

LOVE the Christmas tree shirt and plan on buying he camper Ts for my niece and nephew next summer for the camping season. πŸ™‚ THANK YOU for always providing us with the where and how much of your outfits! You are the best bargain shopper and always remind me that I have to stalk the clearance racks at Kohl’s and Walmart more… off to get your jeggings today – then to find boots that are skinny enough for my skinny calves… not an easy task (it’s the only skinny spot on me anymore). Thanks and I know I’m speaking for all of your readers when I say we can’t wait to see your upcoming holiday posts! I still dream of the blonde Oreo post from last year – it was so dreamy! Is that weird? I love sweets!

Are you going to make a t-shirt with a train on it before Christmas? I have some little boys in the family who are obsessed with trains. Just thought I’d ask before I place an order and then you come out with a train.

I just had to tell you that my twin sister and I are the same way. I NEED her fashion help. I get all of her hand-me-down clothes. She shops at Nordstrom and I shop off the Target 75% off rack. There have been a few times that she has told me to, “take that off. I gave it to you 5 yrs. ago!”

    Darby,
I have been following your blog for a while now, but have never commented. Just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your posts – especially the stories of your children and home. Thanks for inspiring me! I loved the Auburn post πŸ™‚ My family and I live in Alabama now and we joked when we moved here that we would have to either be Auburn fans or Alabama fans (you can’t live here and be neutral). I grew up in Mississippi and went to Ole Miss, but our family “chose” to be Auburn fans!!! Lastly, I got Luchesses from my husband for Christmas last year also – It looks like the same style – and I love them! They feel amazing! I wish I could wear them to work every day!
    Happy Thanksgiving!

I just love my mad dogs as well!!! My husband gave me mine about 5 years ago and they are so comfortable. You said you didn’t see them on the Luchesse website but you can order them at http://www.AllensBoots.com the style number is N4540. It’s a GREAT store in Austin, TX that is a must see if you are ever there. My hubby does the buying for the store. I have been following your blog for a little over a year now and just love it.

For shimmer and shine, the perfect wedding gown is a silk satin strapless
A-line gown with deep V-neckline and double skirt.
One benefit of these items is that if you happen
to forget them, they can be easily purchased at most vacation resorts.
If you think the sleeve is tight enough and you can easily walk around without them falling off, then you will
    have less work to do.

If it’s an alloy wheel, it will not corrode but if it is not, corrosion will take place.
You should not need a car title to sell a scrap vehicle.
Once you have found different sources of junk cars, you should now decide whether you want to sell them online or offline.
