I’m Home!!

Posted in: Life

message

I’m home!! I had a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time in Chicago and can’t wait to tell you all about it! I’m up to my eyeballs in laundry and house work… but I’m working on my Chicago post… check back soon! I sure have missed y’all!

Rover was full speed ahead while I was away and earned himself a shiner. Justin assured me he only cried for a second and was right back at it within minutes.

I missed the little scallywags a ton and was so glad to see their smiling faces last night!!

Did you see the new sponsors on the sidebar? There should be a few more trickling in! Take a look around their sites, they have some really fun stuff! Like these precious plates from Molly Caroline!

Be back real soon!

Darby, I was actually mad at you for being gone for soooo long. I have been reading your blog for about 2 months now and it is one of the highlights of my day. I stay home with my two little boys(2&4) and I laugh so hard when I see the pics of your cuties making messes, it reminds me that it is so important to capture those spills (and shiners) on film. Who wants to look back at just posed pictures of our kids? Now if I could just get your camera and ability:)

    Hi!

I’m a total stranger and found your blog off your sister’s blog (not sure how I found hers…), but I wanted to say thank you for having such a fun, Godly approach to life and motherhood! I’m recently married, and my husband and I aren’t planning on having kids for a few more years, but reading your blog is such an encouragement! A friend and I are going through Barbara Hughes’ book Disciplines of a Godly Woman and just finished the capture on nurturing. The quote at the heading of your blog stood out to me and makes me excited to raise kiddos one day, Lord willing! Just wanted to say hi and thanks for the Godly example!

    Darby,
Your blog is just TOO fantastic. Like Becca, I somehow stumbled upon you and your sisters blogs … and am totally hooked!!! While I don’t yet have children (only furry ones), you make motherhood seem like such a beautiful thing… it’s an inspiration to those who are working their way into the world of mommy-hood. So thanks for the delightful posts and the little bright spots in my day! PS: Where oh where did you get that sign?? It’s a must-have!! :)
